While residing in San Antonio, Ms. Copeland also worked at the Parent Consultation Center as a Behavior Consultant. At the center, she provided Brief Family Consultation for parents that were experiencing behavioral problems with their children. She worked closely with various families on modifying the problematic behaviors that their children were displaying while in school and/or at home.
After obtaining her graduate degree, Marisha relocated back to Houston to work for a local women’s center. While working at the agency, she provided counseling services for survivors of abuse and their children. Her work entailed addressing issues that pertained to creating healthy relationships, domestic violence, physical and sexual abuse, substance abuse, coping skills, grief and loss, parenting, career counseling, and obtaining mental wellness and stability.

Sandra Glover, M.A, LPC | Black Therapist
Sandra Glover, a native Texan, is a black therapist who has a passion to help others. Sandra has a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling (MABC) achieved from the Dallas Theological Seminary and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas.
In contemplation of changing careers, Sandra began preparing to become a professional counselor two years prior to her retirement from a major corporation. Prior to obtaining the master’s degree, Sandra has worked with youth, teens and women for many years through community, employer’s social outreach, and church activities. She understands that there are circumstances in life that can be controlled while others are beyond one’s control. Furthermore, she is aware that one can experience undesirable feelings and behaviors that may lead to depression, anxiety, frustration or anger. Such feelings impact attitudes, perspectives, relationships, and self-image.
Sandra’s desire is to help you discover the coping skills and abilities to achieve the peace, strength and comfort that you desire. She believes that by identifying external influences, examining past behaviors, or learning to think and react differently combined with coping skills yields different behaviors and thought patterns. By learning to explore self-perceptions, level of self-care, and decision-making process, the changes that you desire may be pursued.
